From Kagoshima
Sourced from Kagoshima, one of Japan’s most celebrated tea-growing regions, this hojicha reflects the quality and care of Japanese tea craftsmanship. The region’s favorable climate and rich tea heritage help create leaves with depth, balance, and character. Roasting transforms them into a tea that feels both deeply comforting and beautifully clean.
What is Hojicha?
Hojicha is a traditional Japanese roasted green tea made by gently roasting tea leaves over high heat. This process lowers the caffeine content and gives the tea its signature warm, nutty, and slightly smoky aroma. Unlike more vegetal green teas, hojicha is known for its soft, soothing profile and naturally rounded taste.
